While journalists everywhere are trying to remember their names or what their beds look like, and readers are overwhelmed by information overload, we’ve been creating this handy Prezi as a cheat sheet for you, that we like to call This Week in News.
Every Friday, we will be doing a roundup of the news stories you need to know about. Since this week was nearly a ten on the “yawn” to “holy $%^” scale of breaking news, we decided to get a jump start before our May launch. Our News Editor has spent the last week closely following all the stories, from tragedy and destruction, to uplifting and disappointing legislation. So if you didn’t have time to pick-up (or download) a newspaper, don’t despair- we’ve got you covered.
UPDATE: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the suspect in the Boston bombings, has been captured alive and taken into custody by the Boston PD, FBI, and ATF. His brother was killed this morning in a firefight.
