Irish musician Andrew Hozier-Byrne, known simply as Hozier on stage, is one of the most talented and musically diverse musicians I have ever come across. I like a lot of music and therefore a lot of artists and bands, but it is very rare to come across someone as special as Hozier.
To begin with, he’s a beautiful man who has his hair in a messy bun the majority of the time, has a beard, and wears cool rustic-style clothing. But his voice and song compositions are on a whole other level. His music ranges from soul to jazz to coffeehouse music to blues and gothic-folk power ballads. His voice is a powerful force that seems to carry forever and not lose an ounce of momentum, and ranges from very low notes to near falsetto—much like James Blake. For now, Hozier stays in the U.K. and parts of Europe for his tours, but come May 2014 he will make his way to the United States for the Sweetlife Festival in Columbia, Maryland. He is definitely an artist that will grow and become more well-known, and be appreciated for what he produces.
Hozier is perfect for any season, any time of day, and during any occasion because he’s sunny, he’s cozy, he’s rainy and he’s feel-good.

I LOVE HOZIER. So glad other people are on this bandwagon, too!
