PLAYLIST: The 10 Best Duets & Collaborations

There’s always a bit more magic behind a song when there’s double the talent behind it. This summer has been about collaborations of all sorts, which had me thinking of some of the best collaborations. The beauty behind a duet is that it can combine different genres. Most of the time, listeners don’t realize how well voices can work together until it actually happens. Here are some of my favorite duets:

1) “You’re The One That I Want”—Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta

2) “Beautiful Liar”—Beyoncé & Shakira

3) “Out of Goodbyes”—Maroon 5 & Lady Antebellum

4) “Jackson”—Johnny Cash & June Carter

5) “Why Don’t You Love Me”—Hot Chelle Rae & Demi Lovato

6) “My Boo”—Usher & Alicia Keys

7) “Something Right”—Chelsea Lankes & Will Anderson

8)  “Highway Don’t Care”—Tim McGraw & Taylor Swift (ft. Keith Urban)

9) “A Thousand Years (Christina Perri cover)”—Megan and Liz & Paradise Fears

10) “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”—Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell
