5 Wardrobe Tips From Sophia Bush

I think I love her, and honestly it’s not weird at all. She is one of my favorite actresses not just for her talent and philanthropy but for her style and confidence. Ever since I saw her on “One Tree Hill” it’s been all about Sophia Bush. When she was fashion designer Brooke Davis, she was all about the clothes and since then I’ve come to realize it was Sophia all along.

I would be lying if I said I hadn’t noticed her gorgeous wardrobe before, but that was all costume designers. It wasn’t until the Zero is Not a Size Campaign that I believed I could copy her closet staples and her confidence into my everyday life. Here is her take on fashion from a Refinery 29 interview:

“I love fashion because it can change to suit your mood. I’m very drawn to classic silhouettes, menswear-inspired pieces, and anything that feels a little French. I’m also inspired by Brit girl style. Those ladies have it down! So, I’m always playing and experimenting.”

Be Bold

I’m not just talking about bright, bold colors here. She is adventurous in her styles and that includes the colors. Sophia loves using bright colors and doesn’t limit that to dresses. Find bright spots of color in your wardrobe to infuse some life in that boring Monday.

Jewelry is Key

Sophia’s Instagram is full of her fashion and most of the time she is just sharing her jewelry. Of course she has designer friends, but don’t let that deter you. Find staple pieces and then add some to mix up your outfits. Always be looking for your next favorite piece. Sophia even uses her jewelry choices for a good cause. The falling whistle was created a line of necklaces that not only acts as a symbol of protest, but raises awareness on the continuing struggles in Congo.

I always see Sophia Bush in these amazing dresses that fit her body and accentuate her curves. She’s proud of hers so be proud of yours. Just make sure you aren’t trying to be someone else.

Don’t Forget the Shoes

I am constantly jealous of Sophia’s shoes, mostly her ability to look amazing in them without the slightest hint of toppling over. She always looks confident and someone comfortable in five-inch heels. That being said she doesn’t only wear heels, but it’s impossible to find those pictures.

It’s Cool to be Bad

I know she gets paid for it, but Sophia Bush is one of my favorite cops on TV. I so need that leather jacket (and those boys). Even her character Erin Lindsay knows how to channel her girly side.
