Our Fashion Team’s Ultimate Spring Must-Haves

Amy: ASOS Retro Sunglasses ($65)

I have always wanted to be that glamorous girl who rocks a great signature pair of shades, but I have just never found the right pair. You guys, I think these are “The One.” And naturally, I am thoroughly convinced that purchasing them will transform me into Olivia Palermo.

Lauren: Forever 21 Bucket Bag ($21)

I’m always on the lookout for statement bags and cool, intricate textiles. I adore the colors in this bag and the mix of complementary hues and soft black and white patterns. Perfect for festival frolicking or for toting a couple of sunny day essentials, this bucket bag is the perfect dose of boho flair to complete my spring wardrobe.

Rachel: Kate Spade Shell Metro Watch ($175)

I love leather band watches and I have my eye on this pretty Kate Spade one for spring. I love the great pop of color found in the juicy red band. The beach is my favorite place in the world so I was drawn to the seashell design immediately. This watch is simple yet glam and needs to be mine immediately.

Viktorija: Ann Taylor teal shirred popover shirt ($79.50)

As someone who spends five days a week in a formal office setting, I’m always on the lookout for new work-wear ideas. After a long winter of pantsuits and turtlenecks, my wardrobe clearly needs a serious dose of femininity. And I think I found the one item that will add a hint of spring nonchalance to a formal outfit while allowing me to remain within the boundaries of business casual. The feather-weight fabric of this shirt gives it a flowy and dreamy look, and the soft pastel tone is so elegant and romantic.

Vanessa: Chinese Laundry Jolt Bootie ($49.97 ON SALE via Nordstrom Rack)

With Spring comes the promise of warm weather and sunny days. I can’t wait until the snow FINALLY packs its bags for good so I can wear open-toed booties without fearing that I’ll step into a huge pile of slush. Open-toed boots can be dressed up or dressed down, depending on the occasion.

Katie: J.CREW Linen Boatneck Tee ($39.50, but there seems to be a sale on it every week)

katie

I love linen—it’s easy to pack, quick to un-wrinkle with steam, great for layering, and a perfect lightweight spring/summer fabric. When I saw these J.CREW boatnecks, I immediately had to have them because they’re the perfect transitional shirt, and frankly that mint colored one needed to be mine. With a bunch of spring travel planned, I reduced my packing weight by half with these linen layers.

Allie: Lilly Pulitzer for Target Crochet Tank Top ($32)

I want to buy half of the clothes in this collection, almost all of the home products, and many of the accessories too. I’m not the hugest fan of Lilly patterns (or patterned clothing in general) but some of them are so cute and perfect for spring and summer. I normally can’t bear to spend $30 on a shirt (the bargain shopper in me dies a little every time I spend over $20 on an article of clothing) but I would spend it on this one in a heartbeat, if I can make it into a store before the collection sells out.

Lindsey: Enchanted Encounter Wedge ($65)

I am always looking for things to brighten up my wardrobe (since it’s mostly black), and in the spring and summer I go to bright shoes. I can pair them with anything, and I love an excuse to get a pedicure. I love a good reason to buy shoes! These are cute and flirty. Good for going out, church, work or afternoon trip!
