When most people think of Cape Cod, they think of sunny days on the beach. But when you grow up there, you know that’s just a very small portion of the year. We spend the freezing cold winters waiting for warm weather and the start of beach season.

May is when you can finally put away that winter parka, dig your beach chair out of the basement and head to the dunes with your friends. The nights are still chilly, but you don’t care because you just want to be outside, in the sand, after being cooped up for so long.
