It’s October, which meansĀ longer nights. This translates into more time to binge the best Autumn-esque show out there: “Gilmore Girls.” I’ve been honing my healthy “Gilmore Girls” addiction, and whileĀ taking even more copious notes than usual, I’veĀ noticed the fave music of one Lorelai Gilmore.Ā Lorelai is a witty, sassy, and quick.Ā She also loves her ’80s music, mixed with a little bit of sweet ol’ tunes, and favors female artists.
Some of the songs were pickedĀ becauseĀ of subtle references, while others Ā were chosen becauseĀ of someĀ memorable episodes: when Lorelai went to a Bangles concert; when she related the anecdote of trying to stalk Bono; andĀ that timeĀ she got a dog and named him Paul Anka.
So hit play, and jam as if youĀ had “the word ‘juicy’ on your rear end.”
