15 Songs For When You’re Emotionally Done With This BS

Some days are just a long, torturous emotional roller coaster; you don’t really have the strength to figure out exactly how you’re feeling. You’ve given up on words, you’ve grabbed a spoon and stolen the tub of ice cream from the freezer, and you’ve collapsed on the couch, or your bed, or just whatever comfortable surface was nearest. If your life was a movie, it’d be pouring rain outside and you’d be staring out the window, gentle tears running down your face (mascara and eyeliner fully intact, of course). But life is rarely so picturesque. Whether you’ve just been dumped, ended a relationship yourself, or have had a rough day for any other reason, sometimes you just need to sit down and have a good cry. So grab your nearest pillow or pet (or pillow-pet?) and take that night in for your mental health—tunes included.
