13 Songs To Help You Love Your Body No Matter What Size It Is

For many people, the new year will mark a “new me” phase of their lives where they’ll adopt a series of resolutions to help them become better people. Some resolutions may include learning a new language or being a better student. Many people will also make resolutions about their bodies: to slim down or tone up, to lose weight, gain muscle, run faster, lift more, swim farther, climb higher, and so on. We made this playlist to help you celebrate your body, no matter its shape or size. It’s healthy to have fitness goals, but it’s also healthy to have fun.

The list opens up with “Physical” by Olivia Newton-John, which is an upbeat start to anyone’s day. Next, the pace picks up with Britney’s “Body Ache,” before we chill out a little with Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body.” No song about bodies is complete without the Black Eyed Peas’ “My Humps,” which blends into DNCE’s “Body Moves.” The next few songs are fast and easy to dance to, but it slows down near the end with Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” and Demi Lovato’s sultry “Body Say.”
