A Smoothie For Fall: Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

One of my very favorite things about fall, and an easy way to enhance that fall spirit, is drinking pumpkin anything and everything. However, where I live is hot, with temperatures sometimes going into the 80s in the month of November. This means that hot cups of pumpkin tea or coffee aren’t exactly needed or even wanted. So, as a smoothie lover, I’ve turned to smoothies to get my pumpkin fix. I’ve recently perfected my Pumpkin Pie Smoothie, and I love it. It’s yummy, autumnal, healthy, and very filling. And now, you can enjoy this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie whenever you want.

RECIPE:

Ice1 Cup

Pumpkin Puree (make your own, or from the can) – ½ Cup

Plain Greek Yogurt (if you really like that tarty taste) OR Plain Yogurt½ Cup

Orange Juice (for a fruitier, more refreshing taste) OR Almond Milk (for a more classic pumpkin pie taste)- 1½ Cups

Banana½ or Whole

Vanilla Extract – 1 Tablespoon

Cinnamon2 Teaspoons
