If you’re the type of gal who likes to sleep in or is always running late for a meeting, it’s useful to have some hair extensions on hand.

ZALA hair extensions are great if you want to achieve instant length and volume with your hair. They are convenient and super easy to use, and will shorten your prep time.

And for good measure, you also need to have a couple of effortless hairstyles that you can do in a matter of minutes in your beauty arsenal. Here are a few to consider.

Beachy Waves

This style is great if you’re going somewhere casual and want to achieve that California surfer girl look. This style can be easily achieved with a curling wand. Unfortunately, thermal styling tools are time-consuming to use, and they can also damage your hair (and extensions) in the process if used frequently.

If you want to save your hair from heat damage, you can just separate your hair into two sections and braid each section before going to bed. In the morning, unwind your braids, clip in your extensions, and finish with a texturized hair spray to help those waves hold their shape.

Slicked-Back Ponytail

This ponytail is great if you want an instant facelift that highlights your bone structure. Achieving the perfect sleek look with your ponytail takes little effort, but can be perfected with the help of human hair extensions.

Start by creating a regular ponytail with your real hair. Then, put the ZALA ponytail extensions on the base of your ponytail and slide the clip into place. Wrap a small section of hair around the base of your pony. Next, tuck the end of your hair underneath the wrap section and use a bobby pin to secure the ponytail in place.

Apply gel to the hairline and use a smoothing brush to tame down flyaways and to achieve that “slicked back” look. For a finishing touch, spritz on shine spray to give it that extra sleek look.

Dutch Braids

If you have a busy day ahead and want a chic hairstyle that will keep your hair away from your face, dutch braids are the way to go.

Placement is important when it comes to creating dutch braids with extensions. Just clip the extensions vertically, and section off the hair diagonally in line with your braid. Once the extensions are installed, brush your hair to make sure everything is smooth and tangle-free.

Section off one side of your hair, and split it into three sections. Then, fold one side into the middle, and the other side underneath. Repeat these steps till you reach the tailend, then secure with an elastic tie. Repeat the same steps to achieve the braid on the other side.

Messy Bun

This is the best hairstyle if you’re in a hurry because it does not have to be perfect. Brush your hair thoroughly, then apply the clip-in hair extensions. Tease the roots a bit so that the extensions can grip on your hair better.

Create a high ponytail and secure it with a hair tie. Separate the ponytail into two sections, then twist the hair in each section. Next, twist the two parts of the ponytail around each other, then wrap them on the base of your ponytail.

Messy buns work best on unwashed hair, but if your hair is clean, you can spritz on dry shampoo or texturizing spray to add some texture and grip.

Half-up, Half-down

The half-up, half-down hairstyle is a great way to elevate your look with minimal effort on your part. This is best for second-day hair, but if you’re going with newly-washed hair, you can add dry shampoo for texture.

Pull the front section of your hair back to the crown of your head to create a simple half ponytail. Secure it with a hair elastic that’s the same colour as your hair, while making sure both sides are evenly placed. You can slowly loosen up a couple of strands from the ponytail to create a more volumised, undone look.

For an extra dose of volume, you can add clip-in hair extensions around the ponytail section. Add hairspray on the top knot so that it stays in place all day.
